Longer post tomorrow but for now here’s a photo for you to enjoy. This was taken a few weeks ago on a hike through the Fort Hill historical site in southern ohio. The site includes a hiking trail that loops around an american indian earthwork called Fort Hill, so named because they originally thought from its shape that the mound was a defensive structure. The trail is beautiful, though a bit difficult… this is a scene from a wooden footbridge and stairs on the gorge side of the site.
