Odyssey into the Void

eq2_000200I’ve spent alot of time doing TSO instances since I last blogged. The missions are more fun than I expected to be having with repeatable quests, and I think a big part of that is because of the great design of the instanced zones. Like this image from the Obelisk of Ahkzul, an unexpected view out into alien space you can see in the last room where Executor Vark is summoned. Each of the instances has its own story, and they’re rooted in lore both through the Ethernaut adventures (collected in game as a book called “The Collected Tales of the Ethernauts“) and in game quests to make the player a part of the old story. It’s really a well designed expansion, thanks to everyone in the design team for bringing it to us.

eq2_000198Another view here from the Obelisk of Ahkzul. Just hanging out in goblin form waiting for the tank to come back from afk. 🙂

Been working a bit on Kasul’s house again, and enjoying Frostfell as well. Still playing Vanguard too, so look for an update about that in the near future! Hope everyone is having fun and staying warm.
